May Grace and Peace by yours, in abundance! — Jim Dalton May the grace and peace of God be with you! The Altar Flowers from this Sunday were donated by Anita Williams to the Glory of God and in thanksgiving for Paul Wilson and her St. Stephen’s family. The flowers were arranged by Pat Phillips. Face-to-Face Gathering for Worship As I mentioned in the service yesterday, I have received limited feedback from our congregation about gathering face-to-face for worship. As of this writing I have heard from seventeen of our church members. Three (3) are interested in attending the services in the nave. As long as we keep the total number at ten (10) or less, we can have people come and participate when we video the service. It would be nice to have a few more present to give verbal responses from the congregation. If you are interested in coming occasionally, please let Toby or me know and we will schedule you to attend. On a typical Sunday the three clergy and one lay person

Gathering for WorshipI would like for you to contact me and let me know if you want to gather for worship at St. Stephen’s. We will continue to broadcast our services on Facebook at 10:30 AM on Sunday morning. If some of you would like to attend the services in and space out in the nave and wear a mask, I would like for you to let me know. Those of you at risk with health issues or simply who do not feel it is yet time for you to be around others until the threat of this virus has been eliminated or is under control, I would like to hear from you as well. If the number of members who want to be in attendance is low enough, we may be able to work out a plan that would be approved by the diocese. But the first thing I need is

May grace and peace be yours in abundance! — Jim Dalton A BLESSING:Life is short and we do not have much time to gladden the hearts of those with whom we make this earthly pilgrimage. So, be swift to love, make haste to do kindness, and the blessings of God Almighty, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, be with you and remain with you always. Amen. Altar Flowers for August 16, 2020 (Pictured Above) The altar flowers for Sunday, August 16 were given to the glory of God by Jan Davenport in thanksgiving for her family and friends and especially for her St. Stephen’s family. The altar flowers were arranged by flower guild member Pat Phillips. The Little Free Pantry is in place and someone from the community already stopped by and put some things in it. According to Laura, it was not someone from St. Stephen’s. How exciting is that! Here is a list of items that can be dropped off at the church. If you do not have a key and want to drop something off, please get in touch with Jim Dalton or Pat Phillips and they will make arrangements for you to drop off pantry items.
