help me realize your presence here and now.

Morning Offering
We offer all the prayers, works, joys and problems of this day to you our Heavenly Father, through your Son, our Lord and Brother, in union with the Holy Spirit. We unite ourselves in spirit and prayer with all Christians throughout the world. May we witness the Good News of Christ in all places, at all times, today and forever. Amen.

From Psalm 51 (in unison)
Open my lips, O Lord, *
and my mouth shall proclaim your praise.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, *
and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from your presence *
and take not your holy Spirit from me.
Give me the joy of your saving help again *
and sustain me with your bountiful Spirit.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: *
as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.

Devotional for the Day (given by officiant)

Prayers and Intercessions
O God, the giver of all good gifts, we thank you for all the blessings we have. Give us always contented minds, cheerful hearts, and ready wills, so that we may spend and be spent in the service of others, after the example of him who gave his life as a ransom for many, our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. Let us now pray for our own needs and those of others (Intercessions are added) :

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who, art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom some,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass
against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the
power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

Closing Collect
Lord God, almighty and everlasting Father, you have brought us in safety to this new day: Preserve us with your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin, nor be overcome by adversity; and in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
