May Grace and Peace by yours, in abundance! — Jim Dalton

May the grace and peace of God be with you!

The Altar Flowers from this Sunday were donated by Anita Williams to the Glory of God and in thanksgiving for Paul Wilson and her St. Stephen’s family.

The flowers were arranged by Pat Phillips.

Face-to-Face Gathering for Worship

As I mentioned in the service yesterday, I have received limited feedback from our congregation about gathering face-to-face for worship. As of this writing I have heard from seventeen of our church members. Three (3) are interested in attending the services in the nave. Fourteen (14) feel there is still too much risk and would prefer waiting until a vaccine is developed and the virus is under control.

As long as we keep the total number at ten (10) or less, we can have people come and participate when we video the service. It would be nice to have a few more present to give verbal responses from the congregation. If you are interested in coming occasionally, please let Toby or me know and we will schedule you to attend.

On a typical Sunday the three clergy and one lay person (4 in all) are attending the worship services. That leaves six (6) spots that can be filled by members of our church family on any given Sunday, your priests just need to know ahead of time if you want to attend.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Prayer’s Requested:
Tim and Terri Isaac have traveled to Colorado where Terri will be put through a battery of tests by some medical personnel who specialize in treating a lung issue that she is dealing with. Hopefully it is not too dangerous if treated properly. But, rare enough that only a few medical facilities are equipped to establish a good treatment plan. They left Friday and will be gone approximately 7-10 days. We need to be praying for safe travel for them both, and for wise and compassionate care for Terri.

Reminders:

Guardian Angel Medallions
If you want on of the “guardian angel” medallions for a student or teacher, please let me know. I purchased twenty and asked God’s blessing on them this past Sunday. I have heard from a couple of you. But, please let me know if you need one or more. Phone, text or email!

Little Pantry Items
Remember to purchase items for our Little Free Pantry. They can be stored for now in the fellowship hall on the two tables along the windows.

Prayer for the week:
Lord, you have searched me out and known me;
you know when I sit down, and when I rise up,
you discern my thoughts long before.
You know my journeys and the places where I rest;
you are acquainted with all my ways.
You are behind me and before me;
you have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
so great that I can hardly bear it. Amen.
