Grace and Peace to you all! — Jim Dalton

Pictured below are the altar flowers from Sunday, August 23rd. They were given by Laura Phillips to the glory of God and in loving memory of her daughter Christie Hollingsworth Poe.

The flowers were arranged by Alexa Harrod.

Gathering for Worship
I would like for you to contact me and let me know if you want to gather for worship at St. Stephen’s. We will continue to broadcast our services on Facebook at 10:30 AM on Sunday morning.

If some of you would like to attend the services in and space out in the nave and wear a mask, I would like for you to let me know.

Those of you at risk with health issues or simply who do not feel it is yet time for you to be around others until the threat of this virus has been eliminated or is under control, I would like to hear from you as well.

If the number of members who want to be in attendance is low enough, we may be able to work out a plan that would be approved by the diocese. But the first thing I need is to hear from you, our members.

Text, email or call and let me know.
1. Yes, you want to go ahead and gather face-to-face as soon as possible.
2. I prefer to continue watching on Facebook for now.

If we are going to pursue the option of have members of our church family attend the worship service, I would like to know exactly how many will be attending. This isn’t a situation where we think 15 people are going to be present and suddenly there are 40 that show us. This is also not an effort by anyone to pressure anyone into attending services in person before you are ready. Whatever option you chose will be respected.
